WHO IS THIS GROUP FOR?
Parents of teens ages 11-17 with issues such as:
- Poor time management
- Difficulty meeting deadlines
- Poor paper management
ISSUES DEALT WITH:
- Academic performance
- Household-chore completion
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS GROUP?
The material is designed to equip parents with the tools to help their students master executive functioning skills. Students should attend sessions so they can benefit from first-hand immersion, but attendance is not required.
Building these skills in students is an ongoing process, and will not be fully mastered after 7 weeks. It is far more important for parent(s) to attend in order to obtain the instruction and resources to continue the process in their home long after the sessions have concluded.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
To pre-register for the group, please call 331-575-5035 or request an application from email@example.com. Be prepared to provide your name and address, e-mail and phone, and insurance information. Groups are limited to 8 adults only.
WHAT IS THE COST OF ATTENDING THIS GROUP?
If your insurance plan does not cover the cost of the group, the fee is:
- $450 for one parent
- One student may attend with the parent for an additional $50
- Additional parent or student will require the $450 fee
The fee includes:
- One student workbook
- Additional workbooks are available for $25 each
- The sessions run for 7 weeks, approximately 1.5 – 1.75 hours each session
The fee must be paid at the first session; a pro-rated refund is available through week 2.
CAN MY INSURANCE BE BILLED?
Insurance plans vary greatly, but we will be glad to bill your insurance, if possible. We will be glad to verify that information for you. Keep in mind that deductibles need to be met before insurance will actually cover the sessions.
To truly benefit from the group, you should be committed to attending all 7 sessions. The program builds on prior week materials, and maximum benefit can only be realized if you are present at all sessions.
